In fact this should'nt happen, since there is the following test in the
preinst script :

The previous submitted patch for the DOS codepage font aliases did not
work because "trbdf" needed the original names.
It just seemed so obvious...
Instead, adding a substitution rule in debian/generate_aliases seems to
work fine with package building.

It looks like tk8.0 is just too old to work. I'd try tk8.2 but that's not
in unstable either. However both tk8.3 and tk8.4 work okay. I'd try
installing tk8.4 and then seeing if you can get rid of tk8.0 (and 8.2 and
8.3 if you have them).

For what it's worth, the attached patch will make portslave build from
source again. It seems harmless, but since the problem only affects sid
and Russell has been active recently with the package, I won't NMU for
now.

I can't for the life of me figure out wtf upstream wanted those comparisons
with (int) (this) to work, so I am not applying the patch.
Instead, I will ask upstream if that code makes any sense at all, or what...
