Apologies for not replying earlier, I had missed the email.
As Jeremy pointed out, the latest release available in the archive is expected
to fix this bug (patches/001_python38-cleanup.patch is fixing this issue).
Let me know if that is not the case, otherwise I will close this bug.
Does gnome-authenticator 3.32.2+dfsg1-2 fix your issue?
