I am working on a new version of xsnow to be submitted to debian within
an month or so.
On sourceforge you find newer versions:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xsnow/files/
use 2.0.22 if you want the same functionality as in 2.0.19. Use 3.0.3
for an
Package: xsnow
Version: 1:2.0.19-1
xsnow crashes for me:
$ xsnow
