It seems to be solved for me. The problem happenned when I was trying to
upgrade.
What I did:
- reboot on old kernel (4.18)
- do a `dist-upgrade`
- this worked fine, no initframfs error
- reboot on latest kernel (4.19)
I haven't had any issue since.

I have installed Debian Sid on a LUCKS ext4 partition, ans I have the same
issue.
`ls -l /dev/mapper/` Gives me the same as Paul.
