Hi,
I'm also hit by this bug. My GTA04 has a builtin GPS device which is not
handled by the hotplug script.
As a workaround, i added a new service starting after gpsd.service and telling
gpsd the device to use.
Please make gps

Hello,
I just wasted one hour (at least) of my life figuring out why gpsd
doesn't work although the hardware looked fine.
What was happening? First, your gpsd.socket file only opened the systemd
socket (i.e. its activation placeholder)
