Yup, thats a crash alright.
make sure you install liferea-dbg and libcairo2-dbg .
Then after the app crashes, type bt and hit enter in the gdb terminal. That
will give you a crash backtrace that can be used to fix the issue.

I've run "gdb liferea" then "run" then I got that text (see below) and
Terminal doesn't say anything more while using Liferea and then Liferea
crashed and Terminal didn't add anything...
