I can confirm this, however the computer where it is happening is not mine
so atm I cannot provide information about it, aside from the fact that it
is an Asus EEEPC.

I confirm the same behavior for me.
I upgraded to Linphone 3.6 from Linphone 3.5 and selfvideo doesn't show my
image from the webcam only a black screen. I'm using XFCE4 4.10 as DE.
