In addition to changes in the control files for googleearth-package and the googleearthdeb that it generates, of course fixing the problem requires also that the libcurl.so.4 that comes with the googleearth blob be removed from the package created by googleearth-package. thanks, --jack --

Package: googleearth-package Version: 0.7.0 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, The googleearth package built includes the libcurl.so.4 shared lib that comes with the googleearth blob. This library now no longer works with the google earth servers and will always return "Invalid HTTP Request"
