I forgot to mention that all images I tried have DÂș M' S'' format.
I couldn't get an image with decimal degree format.

Sandro can you still reproduce this issue with newer version like
eog-3.10.1-1 ?
there are two representative ways of coordinates:
http://andrew.hedges.name/experiments/convert_lat_long/ or
http://itouchmap.com/latlong.html
I can't find an image that eog fails in coordinates.
