It looks to me that this is more a problem with mime-support and ssl-cert
packages that were not flaged as supporting multi-arch. [1]
mime-support package was fixed in version 3.53. [2]

any help or suggestion would be a huge help. We haven't managed to get it
compiled from source package even if we modify the suggested source file size.
