Could you please take a look at this?
I think we're going to need to have a goffice-0.8 package anyway for
gnucash's benefit (See http://bugs.debian.org/702656 ) but I still
think it would be good to get the final other rdepends ported over.

I took a look at this today and am attaching a patch that should give
you a headstart. I wasn't sure how you wanted to handle the libgcu-gtk
split or where you wanted to stick the new nuts plugin. I also didn't
know what you use to generate the .symbols file.
