When you write that the bug isn't reproducible, have you really tried it
or just assumed it

this bug is not reproducible and we get no answer since more then seven
weeks.
So I close this bug from 2012.
Thank you for spending your time helping to make Debian better with this
bug report.
If the bug still occurs feel free to file a new bug or reop

Hello,
the email option seems to send all emails with charset="iso-8859-1"
even if the environment is using something else, in my case UTF-8.
The result is that all accentued characters are garbage at arrival,
which is quite ugly.
