Followup-For: Bug #675351
The issue doesn't exist anymore with the current version of the
package in unstable (1.6.0-3). So you can close it.

According to the upstream Launchpad bugtracker,
it was fixed in lightdm 1.3.3-0ubuntu1;
lightdm 1.4.0-1 has been uploaded to Debian experimental;
perhaps, it's fixed there (needs testing).
