Thin provisioning is still 'experimental' but users should try to use
and report bugs and problems.
As for thin_check tool - user could elimitnate it's usage by setting:
/etc/lvm/lvm.confglobal { thin_check_executable="" } # empty string
But in general checks should not be skipped!

Building lvm --with-thin=internal is currently dangerous. Trying to open
thin volume I get:
