Without any xrandr rotation, because the camera is mounted on the
display itself, it does not change orientation so long as I hold the
display so that the top of the UI is up and the bottom is down.
Regardless of laptop/tablet mode, Cheese will show my webcam image
upside down relative to the rest
Hello Joe,
could you please attach the output of dmidecode? Is the orientation in
both modes (laptop and tablet) wrong?
I'll follow up with the original requester of this change during the
next days.
Thanks,
Gregor

My webcam display was flipped upside down when I upgraded from squeeze
to wheezy. I was able to fix the issue by reversing the change that
added it to the list of laptops that are considered as having an
upside-down camera.
