That is true. In my case, I need to add a drive to an existing RAID
setup and unless I align the

While libparted fails to detect the true physical sector size of
newer "advanced format" drives, please allow us to override the
detected size (_device_set_sector_size in libparted/arch/linux.c),
e.g. with a command line switch and/or a command.
