A thorough code inspection leads me to suspect liblua5.1-0, especially
version 5.1.4 and older.
There are a few bugfixes in lua 5.1.5 that look like they are to fix
heap corruption.
If you are in the position to upgrade your liblua5.1-0, please do so.

I've also been seeing the bug reported in #639014, but with a newer version
backported to squeeze (1.1.4-1~bpo60+1). I've seen it a few times, a day or
two apart.
At Peter's suggestion I started ekeyd with ulimit -c unlimited and if I get
a coredump I can send more info.

we had an ekeyd segfault.
It's running in EGDTCPSocket mode and has complained about 'Repeated key
request's for a few days beforehand.
Not sure if there's anything we can do to help you track this down.
