Hi Goswin,
Today I stumbled across another problem (#636301) that results from
building lib32v4l* within the package instead of including the i386
package into ia32-libs:
libv4l depends on libjpeg-dev which is provided by libjpeg8-dev. The
ia32-libs-dev package provides a .so symlink to libjpeg.s
