Hi,
thank you for maintaining ccache.
The libreoffice page on building with clang[1] has the recommendation to
apply at least the patch[2] to ccache 3.1.9 to support building with
clang+ccache. Given that the patch is already upstream, would it be
possible to include it in the Debian package?
Package: ccache
Version: 3.1.9-1
Followup-For: Bug #624589
Dear Maintainer,
The following patch makes the trigger script consider llvm-clang compilers
and adds appropriate symlinks to /usr/lib/ccache.
Please check the ccache.triggers.in use as I don't know if this will work
properly.
I did noth
RESOLVED/FIXED in the upstream ccache case means "a fix has been committed
to some branch", and Target Milestone says which version the fix will be
in. When the version has been releated, the bug is set to CLOSED/FIXED.

That upstream bug is now marked as fixed, though it's not entirely
clear in what release.
Note that the clang packaging may transition in future to have
versioned names like clang++-3.2. There's also clang++-libc++ if you
install libc++-dev from experimental (g++-libc++ is not really
usable).

I don't think that this should be done u
Package: ccache
Version: 3.1.4-3
Severity: wishlist
Please add integration for the clang compiler suite. You'd just need to add
/usr/bin/clang
/usr/bin/clang++
/usr/bin/llvm-clang
into update-ccache-symlinks and add some dpkg triggers.
