For those affected, boot like this:
setenv bootargs_console console=ttyS0,115200 ipv6.disable=1
run bootcmd
And when your system boots, make sure to run
flash-kernel
The issue should then be gone.

Can you show the full kernel messages? Did you run flash-kernel to
activate the -23 kernel?
