It has been some time since some activity was shown in this bug. Is there

Thank you

Pasting it here since we have no control over what happens on
pastebin.com, keeping only the VGA entry:

Sorry guys, I thought you'd forget about this bug. My bad. I hope now it
will be more active. (it's not my laptop, so sometimes it lasts a bit longer
to get needed info from it)
Thanks for interest. If anything needed, just write. I'll try my best to

Sadly adding lines you've sent me did not work at all. No difference. (I've
just copied radeon.ko from freshly compiled kernel to working one). I did
the same using "patch #2" saying that add just "return". Slight progress has
been made. I could reboot OS via kernel-call altGr+sysrq+b (?).
No chang
May I ask for some help on how to do it? I was able to download and patch
kernel-source file (radeon-combios.c). But then I was unavailable to
correctly build kernel. (got kernel panic right on start)
Thanks

Nope, I've just installed this kernel from experimental. I am not sure if
it's suitable, though.
2.6.35-trunk-686 #1 SMP Tue Aug 17 14:30:48 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
It's not solving issue. Any other things I should check? I am not
super-experienced user, but I can try and really want to solve this

Does 2.6.35 work better?
