please rebuild this package with CFLAGS=-D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64. That
was a solution for me.

The problem seems to be somewhere in stat() system call. Exploring it
with gdb gives the following:
(gdb) print stat("/smb/natalie.campus:music/music", &stat_buf)
$9 = -1
mount command shows
//natalie.campus/music on /smb/natalie.campus:music/music type cifs (rw,mand)
I can only reproduce this
