Maybe just put a warning on the man page that "wrappings WILL be affected if ... because one of the goals ..." All I know is I was given a 400 Kb .po file, and I wanted to change one or two words in it. I ended up just doing $ perl myscript file.po|diff file.po -| mail -s 'Here are the diffs. as
