The original issue in this report, "Failed to map FB", seems to be the
one reported upstream in

Hallo Brice
I tried radeonhd 1.2.4, Xserver 1.5.99, Mesa and DRI from experimental. Found
2 or 3 things working:
(a) some XVideo Support - but still no on-screen menu for brightness/contrast
etc. (MPlayer)
(b) evdev keyboards/mice work and got better - but I did not find out how to
configure

Well, it's not fixed and if you can reproduce it, why do you want to
close it? Even if you have a workaround, it would be better if it work
from scratch.

Hi,
sorry I wanted to close the bug after trying 1.2.4 and forgot. Would you
please close it?

Not really, the main problem is that the kdm/xerver (or whatever) versions in
lenny are incompatible with 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 (same crash on logout).

Package: xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd
Version: 1.2.3-1
Severity: minor
File: radeonhd
Does it make sense to report bugs on this driver version or is it too
early?
Hardware: RS690 X1250 on ASUS ML68 board. Using KDE.
Anyhow, it works a little bit but crashes in many cases. It works better
(for me)
