I think the patch just uploaded was not necessary and was
hastily applied before diagnosing the problem.
I had already closed Bug#495620 because it seemed to be
fixed using libcairo2-1.8.10-4. All of the sites that
caused that problem seemed to display fine.

this change made CPU usage with nVidia 256.44 skyrocket. Audacious
player consumes about 25% CPU on Core-i5 750 (2.6 GHz). gnome-terminal
is barely usable.
export MOZ_CAIRO_NO_BUGGY_REPEAT=1 in .gnomerc fixes the issue.
