Again, some updates: upstream released 6.2-rc2, which contains a
shared library. It should be uploaded by the end of the week, and
hopefully version 6.2 will follow soon.

Some updates: we are adding a shared library directly in upstream's
version and are stuck in autotools madness. It should be resolved
"soon".
