Package: cryptsetup Version: 2:1.0.5-1 Severity: normal Tags: patch The options
--offset, -o and --skip, -b are not supported in /etc/crypttab, which makes it impossible to automatically decrypt an encrypted disk using either of these options. The appended patch adds these options and at least works with the option "offset" in /etc/crypttab. I haven't tested option "skip". The two new options need to be mentioned in the manual page, of course. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.ISO-8859-15, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO-8859-15 (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages cryptsetup depends on: ii dmsetup 2:1.02.20-2 The Linux Kernel Device Mapper use ii libc6 2.6.1-1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdevmapper1.02.1 2:1.02.20-2 The Linux Kernel Device Mapper use ii libgcrypt11 1.2.4-2 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libpopt0 1.10-3 lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii libuuid1 1.40.2-1 universally unique id library cryptsetup recommends no packages. -- no debconf information
