it seems i sent the wrong patch (aehm...sorry).
it lacks of the libusplash.h part.
just resent.

There's no way to tell usplash that he must wait for user input with a
timeout, and he must go on if no input where provided
Using INPUT command it simply waits forever.
I made a little patch that permit that type of input with a new command:
