I've always used local (no NFS nor kio slaves) plain text files ( _~/.kde/share/apps/korganizer/std.ics_ ). When I used the backup file to restore data lost, it was also located on a local disk (again, no NFS nor kio slaves) - _/mnt/hdb1/stuff/backup.ics_ - and I added it as a resource using

The bug has manifested again! I'm attaching _after.ics_ (which was added to KOrganizer, but hidden, preventing it from being altered manually) and _before.ics_ (which was only added, as read-only, today to make sure there were events disappearing). A close look on date 2007-06-12 shows
