This idea has been rejected upstream.
Responses made were basically that this could be done by replacing the shared
library (.so) with an unstripped library.
This kind of support isn't something trivial and IMO, is not worth for us to

It would be nice if it was possible to install the "standard" ffmpeg
from debian, and still be able to add, for example, AAC encoding support
through libfaac. That would require ability from ffmpeg to load such
