Hi,
the bug is really old but still there as I got it here [0] right now
with 2.22.2-1.1 (amd64, lenny box).
The mails are downloaded and displayed local, so no imap cache or so. It
only appeared by new downloaded mails, so far i can tell now, old ones
are ok. I hope its just a display bug and

It doesn't look like a GtkTreeView bug because the mismatched
messages are stable with respect to scrolling and sorting.
