have not yet heard back. Since l2tpd has been replaced by xl2tpd, I am
assuming that this bug has been fixed. However, I wanted to give you

A while ago I took over as the maintainer of l2tpd so that I could get
xl2tpd into Debian. It has been for about a month now. I wonder if you
could verify that the problem still occurs. If not, please let me know
so that I can close the bug reports.

existing connections freeze and new ones can't be established. This
makes l2tpd unusable because when one user experiences the random
fault, all users are affected, and the ipsec/l2tp dae
