You know, it just occured to me that in Debian you can install
libhtml-mason-perl with either apache/mod_perl 1.x *or* 2.x. In other
words, ApacheUserDirHandler.pm still works just fine--you just have to be

and is not officially distributed by upstream. I know it was written for apache
amd mod_perl 1.
