No problem if you want to adopt the package, though adopt is not really
the term as it's a new package.
You may play with debuild(from devscripts), dput and mini-dinstall, so
we can easily get/use/test an rebuild the package.
I could even sponsor the package.

I've packaged it up and put it online at:

this includes the build log as well as the dpkg-buildpackage outfiles.
What I did:
renamed *php4* to *php5*
sar on every file with php4 to php5 except:
copyright still says it was based off of php4-pgsql
change
