I mentioned previously that the ALSA drivers built in to kernel 2.6.14 worked
fine, but it turns out there's an incompatibility between libasound2 1.0.9-3
and the emu10k1 driver's digital out (as used by Xine for example for AC3
pass-through). Upgrading libasound2 to 1.0.9+1.0.10rc2-1 fixes th
