Can I ask you to confirm this with the latest evolution (2.4.2.1-2 ATM)?
It would also be helpful if you could provide an email that produce the

OCT-31-2005 using evolution 2.2.3-5. Has there been any investigation
into the issue or any way of addressing it? I am currently having to use
squirrelmail to respond to business contacts who choose to have images
in their sign
