Hi!
I can confirm this bug. Firefox 1.5 (no plugins/extensions) still
randomly crashes / disappears when I have lots of tabs / windows open.
I do have 2 GB of ram, so this is definetly not the problem.

Yes, but less frequently. A contributing factor to /some/ instances may
be the known instability issues with mozilla-mplayer, and I suspect with
other plugins like flashplayer.

Hi Eric, I also experience firefox dying silently several times a month for
quite some time. In my case, I never have more than 6-12 tabs open
concurrently, usually only 3 or 4. No extensions are installed.
Sometimes ff dies
