actually, gnome-shell really tries to save files in .local/share/gnome-shell I
think, as XDG_DATA_DIRS is the only XDG environment variable.
so my problem shall not come from directories rights as I expected. sorry for
misleading.

A usefull feature would be to be able to install a group of packages under a
user defined meta package name. After a while, when we forget
about the mess we have installed, it would be easier to uninstall things.
