Resizing images and using the paintbrush tool works without crashes in
my testing.

is a OFL-licensed font family that is metrics-compatible with
the "Segoe UI" font from Microsoft.
Having this package available in Debian would improve rendering for web
pages and documents that expect this kind of font.
It's previously been packaged for Arch Linux at [1].
