p7zip interperets files read-only file permissions as 444, read-write as
666, and executable as 777 (unsure of full logic but you get the idea).

Given that the various servers in a round-robin have no guarantee to be
in sync, insisting on always accessing the same ip address may avoid a
number of problem during an update run.
Of course, I don't think there should be published dns round-robins
which can get out of sync. Round-robin suggest
