according to analyzes on the macOS recovery side, the variables for
coupled devices are not exist there too. So IMHO this is no problem for
asahi-btsync/nvram but a special case on my system.

some additional information
when symbolic linking the libraries from /usr/lib/jni to
~/.swt/lib/linux/aarch64 the application works - but needs relinking
when the libraries are updated.
