To make text graphics preview available, you need these extra package:
- file
- caca-utils
- libcaca0
then to make sure the cacademo is workable and execute this command:
$ ranger --copy-config=scope

The release notes says vifm-0.4 has UTF8 support, but it still does not work.
Then I found out the build-depends is wrong, use
"libncursesw5-dev" to instead of
"libncurses5-dev"
I have proof and it works just fine.
