Additional information: I can confirm that this issue was introduced in version 4.22. When I revert the packages to 4.21, it works again without panics. So specifically: - downgrade samba* from 2:4.22.0+dfsg-1+b1 to 2:4.21.4+dfsg-1 - downgrade libldb2 from 2:2.11.0+samba4.22.0+dfsg-1+b1 to 2:2
