That is because Gimp does not save the EXIF data from the original raw
file. In the stand-alone version of UFRaw you also have an option not
save the EXIF data, if that is what you wan

Laurentiu has just sent me the the relevant TIFF file. I could
reproduce the problem with UFRaw-0.13, but it seems that in
UFRaw-0.14.1 the bug was already fixed.
This bug will be resolved when UFRaw-0.14.1 will be uploaded to Debian.
