1.4.1 has been available since April (two months). Does genext2fs need a
new maintainer? I could probably be the maintainer long enough to get this
up to 1.4.1. The current version is missing some useful switches.

The test that /etc/init.d/loadcpufreq uses in check_kernel returns 1
on my system, which means failure, despite everything being ok.
This results in loadcpufreq reporting a false "load failed" message at boot,
although cpufrequtils otherwise
At the small sizes used in the workspace switcher and other places in
the window manager, the iceweasel logo is too unsaturated, washed out,
low constrast, indistinct, etc., to look like anything, which makes it
useless as an icon since it's not recognizable without staring

/etc/init.d/discover assumes /proc/modules exists which causes
sed to error if it doesn't exist. All of the other scripts in
my /etc/init.d check [ -f /proc/modules ] before using it.

the nvram device is present. nvram is a character device, not
a block device; the test should be -c /dev/nvram.
