Hi Andreas,

It is called explicitly in debian/rules. It may even have been me who
originally added the line. It works for 2.1.4.
All it does is generate the BASH completions so I wouldn't call it
critical
s a very significant change from 2.1.4 to
2.1.5 with other things aside from PyQi. The minor change in version
number is misleading!

Hi,
If I were the overlord of Debian I'd say that GUI-only commands should
not take up any "precious" 3-letter command names, but as I'm not I
agree that we need to respect the principle of first-come-first-served.
Andreas' fix should work
Hi All,
Sure, I can do some performance tests. The tests supplied with the
software are specifically to test performance so I can run those with
various build flags and see what we get. Maybe also enabling link-time
optimisation would help here - I've not really played with that myself
yet.

The attached file shows the zshrc used on Bio-Linux, and the part we'd really

Also, can this now be arch=all or is there still something being

Hi,
Just to let people know I've committed my initial work to get this
building. This is not complete and will not yet produce binary debs you
can use, but I'm progressing. I'm trying to make a drop-in replacement
for the sun-javadb-* packages in Ubuntu multiverse. I believe there is

Hi Charles,
I'll be up at the EBI in a couple of weeks. Is there anything I can do
to try and persuade them to grant an acceptable license or has this
already been tried? EMBOSS is a software package that I still consider
to be very important, even though development is currently stalled due

There is an icon for fastDNAml in BL6, but it serves absolutely no
useful function whatsoever, since all it does is to bring up a terminal
and show the version of fastDNAml which is installed.
So I've made a note to remove the icon in BL6, unless I can be bothered
to add a wrapper script that does
set.

I don't want to tinker with unstable packages on this particular machine
as it's my work laptop. I'll try and reproduce the problem on another
box that I can more easily play
