Is your system a clean install?
Do you mean that the apache parent process segfaults, or do the child

Hi,
I cannot run any 2.6.xI am on a 2.4.27...what I have found is the
upgrade/move to a 2.6 effectively trashes the system and I have to do a
re-install.
I am hoping to get an out of warrantee server hence a spare raid controller

Hi,
This is still an issue even with Kernel 2.6.24 (Lenny netinst CD).ie
2.6.8 and 2.6.18 also do not work, Etch 4.0r3 netinst CD.
It also appears that any "raw" 2.4 kernel of 2.4.27+ does not work

more in the kernel, which is not something the debian-installer team
is directly responsible of.
Probably correct, for the megaraid driver, the cdrom issue I dont know.

Hi,
Unable to install Debian 4.0r3 as there is a lock up during hardware
detection, would seem to be around the raid module.
Installed 3.1 which went fine, upgraded to 4.0r3 using apt-get update ;
apt-get -y dist-upgrade, went fine.
Attempted to install a 2.6.18-6 kernel and the megaraid-mb
