Package: linux-image-2.6.32-5-686
Version: 2.6.32-15
I had this problem on Squeeze after dist-upgrading with Synaptic 2010-06-13.
After a few seconds, the screen turns black with random horizontal gray
garbage, and the system hangs totally (keyboard leds included). After several
reboots, I've s

libxklavier15 missing in testing makes kdebase uninstallable.
libxklavier15 has not yet entered testing, but kdebese-workspace-bin depends
on it, and it is in testing. kdebase, kdeminimal and kdebase-workspace have
been removed from testing after an upgrade. The KDE sess

This problem is still there with linux-image-2.6.26-1-686 version

I confirm that this kernel has serious problems, even with
hpet=disable. This time it crashed after a few hours of uptime, no
more mouse and keyboard input, I've heard the hard disk park itself
and CD-ROM disc activity stopped too. Syslog, dmesg and debug contain
no useful information.

Sorry if I've explained badly, I mean it's much stabler in that it
just hangs *sometimes* instead of *always*... It is still far from
stable.

Since the latest update in Lenny on December 14, from 2.6.26+16 to
2.6.26+17, the system seems much stabler. With HPET enabled, it
reaches hours of uptime without major problems. This is a home PC
with a few reboots per day. Only a couple of times the system hanged
as before, usually within the
Same problem here with 2.6.26-11: after (fortunately) a couple of
minutes after boot system activity continues (finishes to restore my
previous KDE session), but mouse and keyboard input freezes
suddently.
I'm starting to be very uncomfortable with that kernel being chosen
for the next Debian *
Problem still present after upgrading to 2.6.26-8 in Lenny, without
hpet=disable. Now trying with HPET disabled.

The mouse cursor shape changed to a vertical dotted bar (like a rebar
handle) a few moments before the freeze. (Actually, since 2.6.25 I
experience random cursor shape changes fairly often, don't know if

Justification: renders package unusable
The system hangs every time I boot with 2.6.26. Sometimes very early,
that is about a minute (just enough to start kdm), sometimes it may
function for several minutes (never reached one h
Hi,
same problem here with an ATI Radeon X1300, freshly dist-upgraded
lenny (xorg 7.3). Asked on debian-user with no luck.
Everything is fine with kernel 2.6.18 from etch, black screen with
kernek >= 2.6.22. With later kernels, both the vesa and the radeonhd
xorg driver have similar problems: b
Package: bochs
Version: 2.2.1-2
On 2005-10-30 bochs was updated in testing from 2.1.1+20041109-3 to
2.2.1-2, and it is now using libwxgtk2.4-1 instead of libwxgtk2.4.
Bochs does not start any longer, everything else (including the bochsrc
config file) being the same.
