Not tried the example. dont have any problems with C programs with or
with out pthreads. if i try and compile a basic hello world in c++ i
get lots of messages similar to those above.

It seems to break any c++ compile.
My C programs using pthreads compile fine.
Current work around is just to uninstall it when im doing any C++ work.
