I don't think Adobe will drop SSE2 for the few K7 processors out there.
Similarly aged intel cpu's do support SSE2. I understand your point of
installing a potentially (more) unsafe flashplayer, but on K7 you don't
have alternatives. I suggest warning the user that 11.1 might be more
